Throwback to September of last year (2022) when I was a week out of fairly major shoulder surgery and my friend (and fantastic photographer) Brandon Clifton grabbed this behind the scenes of me! 😅 It may not seem noticeable, but my left arm is down because I was totally incapable of lifting it!

Client work, out in the internet-wild! This shoot was my first with Shutterstock Custom, which took place in June of 2019, for Wayback Burgers. There were a couple of components to this shoot that made it challenging - in a fun way :-) …

I don’t need to tell you these are complicated times- so many of our friends are struggling to adapt, struggling to stay healthy, struggling to navigate the ever-changing social and business norms.  I see many businesses talking about what they can’t do right now or what they have to do right now to survive. 

Ever since I was in middle school, which was the time I started getting really into makeup and taking good care of my skin, I have LOVED having a fresh, complete set of cosmetics….

I remember the deep curiosity about where this would all go before it was really here. There was enough information to be vigilant but not yet enough to make major shifts. The launch party for my fiancé’s incredible new space was happening- we had been preparing for months and with COVID-19 there was now a sense of uncertainty about the timing.
